Privacy Policy

Last updated · 12 September 2026Applies to zeroonealpha.com

This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what happens to it. It covers the website only. When we build or run a platform for a client, that work is governed by the contract we sign with them.

Who we are

Zero One Alpha designs and builds production AI and data platforms. This website is operated by Zero One Alpha LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us"). Our postal address is available on request, and the fastest way to reach us about anything in this policy is by email.

For anything about privacy, write to [email protected].

What we collect

We keep this deliberately small. There is no advertising and no tracking pixels, and the traffic measurement we do use sets no cookies.

Contact formYour name, work email, the area you're interested in, and optionally your company and message. We also record which page you sent it from, and the date and time.
Anti-abuseYour IP address is checked briefly in memory to limit how many messages can be sent from one address in ten minutes. It is not written to our database and is not kept after the request.
Email checksWe look up whether your email's domain can receive mail, so a typo doesn't silently lose your message. That's a lookup of the domain, not of you.
Server logsOur hosting and network providers record standard request logs, which can include IP address, browser type and the page requested. These are held by those providers on our behalf.
Traffic measurementCloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies or fingerprinting. It reports aggregate figures — page, rough location, referrer, browser — not individuals. See our Cookie Notice.
Your display choiceWhether you chose light or dark mode is stored in your own browser. It never reaches us.

We don't ask for, and would rather you didn't send, sensitive personal information through this form: health details, financial account numbers, government identifiers, or anything about other people that you aren't free to share.

Why we use it

  • To reply to you. A message sent through the form reaches our inbox, and we answer it. You also get an automatic acknowledgement so you know it arrived.
  • To keep a record of the conversation, so that if you write again we know what was already discussed.
  • To keep the site working and free of abuse, which is what the rate limit and email checks are for.

We don't sell personal information, we don't share it for advertising, and we don't use it to train models.

Where the law requires a legal basis (for example, the UK and EU GDPR), ours is your consent when you choose to write to us, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and protecting the site.

Cookies and storage

This site sets no cookies. The one thing we store in your browser is your light or dark preference, kept in local storage so the site doesn't flash white when you return. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings, and nothing about you is stored alongside it.

Our network provider may set a short-lived cookie of its own to tell humans from bots. It is not used to profile you. The full detail is in our Cookie Notice.

Who else sees it

A small number of providers handle parts of this site on our behalf. They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.

VercelHosting and serverless functions for the website.
CloudflareNetwork and security in front of the site, and cookieless traffic measurement.
NeonThe managed database where contact messages are stored.
Zoho MailSends our notification and your acknowledgement, and hosts our mailbox.
Google FontsServes the typefaces used here. Your browser requests them directly from Google, which involves your IP address.

These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. We'll also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept for 24 months after our last exchange with you, then deleted. Email in our mailbox follows the same rule. Server logs are kept for the period our providers set.

If you'd like your message deleted sooner, ask us and we'll do it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable form. You can also withdraw consent at any time.

Write to [email protected] and we'll act on it. We don't charge for this and we won't treat you differently for asking. If you're in the UK or EU and you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Contact messages travel over encrypted connections and are stored in a managed database with access limited to people who need it. Email credentials and database connection details are held as environment secrets, not in our code.

No system is perfect. If you believe you've found a security problem with this site, please tell us at [email protected] before disclosing it publicly, and we'll work with you.

Client data is different

When we build or operate a platform for a client, any personal data in that platform belongs to the client. We handle it as a processor, under the contract and data processing terms we've signed with them, in their cloud where that's the arrangement. This website policy doesn't govern that work, and nothing here gives us rights over a client's data.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles personal information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
